Dennis Green of Business Insider predicted it; GQ magazine encouraged it; and, The Wall Street Journal called it:  Pleats are back and they’re better than ever.

From Armani to J. Crew, designers up and down the fashion ladder are showing pleated pants for men this season and into the fall/winter.  Suits are still on the slim side with single pleated pants to update the look.  Casual slacks – single and double pleated – are tapered to a more modern, flattering shape.  These are not your father’s pleats!

And, while the old adage is that shorter, stockier men shouldn’t wear pleats, the cuts that are coming into vogue today can be worn by most – especially the single, narrower designs.  Whether this is your first foray into pleated pants, or you're delighted that they’re finally back, now is the time to Be Pleated and Be Proud!
